Hey folks! How are we doing today? Did you give your doggos a little extra love and attention today? If not, you should. If you ask us, dogs are completely a part of the family. They are family members through thick and thin and you best believe that we spoil them occasionally with food and treats. However, one thing that we do not do, is we never ever prepare food for guests, hand-feed the doggos from the food we are preparing, and then continue to prepare the food as if nothing has happened.
That is just unsanitary and quite frankly, rude. It's not as though you are preparing food only for yourself, but for guests. And it is exactly what went down in today's 'am I the a-hole' thread. OP meets her boyfriend's family for the first time and can not bring herself to eat any of the food prepared by her boyfriend's family after witnessing the horror of unsanitary cooking. To be clear, we love treating our doggos. But there's a right way to do it and a very very wrong way. We'll let you be the judge here.
"I will get right to the chase. 24f and I'm a germaphobe. I've been seeing "Will" for 8 months and we were just invited to his parents house for a family dinner. This was my first time meeting them."
OP is meeting the parents and the pressure is on to make a good impression…
Oy vey. That's all we can say.
"Now these people knew how I was with germs already because it got brought up in conversation; so it shouldnt have been any surprise in my opinion."
Surprise! People are a-holes.
