Heartwarming Stories Of Cats Proving That Kitties Do Actually Love Their Humans

No matter how many times we hear it, we are still shocked every single time that people tell us that they think cats are unfeeling. It's honestly like they don't know anything. Come on, it's been disproved so many times, by practically every single cat owner in the world. Cats love their humans so much, and no one knows that better than our amazing ICanHas users. 

This week, we wanted our challenge to be about pawsitivity and wholesomeness, so we asked you guys to share wholesome stories of your cats disproving the claim that cats are unfeeling, and you guys delivered. You gave us so many heartwarming stories of cats showing love to their humans, stories of cats showing kindness to their humans in funny ways, stories that prove that even though some cats start off aloof, it's just a matter of time, respect, and affection from you guys before they will return the love.

    This is what we mean - cats know when they are needed. They know when we're distressed, they know when we are sad, they know. Not every cat will come to you and sit on you in moments like these, but they will do what they can. Sometimes that just means sitting in the same room with you, but they still do their best - you just have to know how to read it.

    One of our cats has moments like these too - when nothing will stop her from getting her way when it comes to cuddling. She will toss your laptop right off your lap by bonking it with her head over and over and take her rightful spot on our lap. There's nothing we can do to stop her, nor do we want to.

Nothing I do can chill her out during these tantrums, but Artemis can come up, rub on her, lay on her, let her tug her ears, tail, pat and eventually babble to her.. stops them within minutes... He is bit special though and has learned that I give him affection by kissing his head so now he comes charging at me full tilt and headbutts my face so I can give him a kiss He head bonks your hand when feeding him as well today thanks but sends.biscuits all over kitchen .     Font - O Top fan Jasmine Wisdom My cute, fuzzy, little brat screams "MOMMA, MOMMA, HEY, MOM, MOMMA, HEY MOMMA" over and over at the top of his lungs until i get down where he can reach and he reaches up and either hugs around my arm and puts himself draped over my shoulder for hugs. He then purrs so loud you'd swear you need hearing protection and marks and nuzzles the side of my face so hard he moves my whole head in the process. Rescued me every now and then from heartbreak to suicidal thoughts for almost eleven years now. Sleeping next to my head every night. One one the left, one on the right side.     Dog - Corinne Tyler My little cat Kevin gets under the covers with me in bed and lays his little head on my arm and the full length of his body against mine.     Cat - Renya Switzer Eos sleeps beside my desk and will cry if she can't come in the bathroom with me. She yells at me if I stay up late because she needs bedtime snuggles before she leaves to do cat stuff around the house overnight (I think she checks on the kids too).
