Can we just say, people seem to be getting more bold and entitled by the day, and we are not about it. Dogs and pets in general bring so much happiness to our lives, they should never be a source of argument or unpleasantness. Unfortunately for the original poster of this frustrating Reddit thread, their parent's dog seems to be a dilemma, but the real dilemma here is how to deal with these entitled a$$ parents.
OP is an established pet sitter and dog walker, they have regular clients that book out months in advance to avoid any scheduling conflicts. This is a serious business and OP's source of income, so obviously it should be taken seriously and not be manipulated by selfish parents. When OP's parents decide to go on a last minute vacation- they expect OP to cancel on all their other clients to accommodated the parents' dog. OP manages to squeeze them in for their first set of requested dates, and then surprise! Their sister's 3 month old puppy is added to the mix. When OP holds their ground on their parents' second requested vacation dates, they are met with pure rudeness from the mother. Just not cool, guys.
