Rectangle - Michelle Muckenthaler A feral boy cat tried to give my spayed girl babies. She wasn't having it and when she launched them both 4 feet into the air, he bit her back and peed all over her. She was soooo good in the bath because she didn't want to smell like that jerk. The rollercoaster of emotions we went through reading this comment - oh my god. From concern for the female cat, to involuntary laughter at the image of both of them launching into the air, to shock over him peeing on her, to laughing again at the thought of her begrudgingly and grumpily sitting there in the bath letting her human take care of her. Amazing. 10/10 story.

Rectangle - Claudia Kirkland My cat has been taking showers with me since he was a wee kitten! And it wasn't my idea in the first place. As a kitten, he saw me taking showers and I guess he decided I was teaching him what he needed to do! So now, I turn on the water and he just rushes in! 6. Like Reply Hide Send Message 5h

Okay, so this - this cat is an anomaly, and we want one of them. Our cats already follow us to the shower with concerned looks on their faces every time we go, but they never touch the water. The mayhem that would happen if that were the case… maaan, that would be funny.

Cat - Mel Turner Years ago I had to take both my cats Sid and Nance to the vet. I bought a big carrier they would both fit in. I forgot that Sid doesn't travel well. He was sick, then wee'd, then pooed. The pair of them were covered in it!! So obviously they needed cleaning when we got home. Neither of them liked the bath as you can see!! Font - Jami Bond Fink When my daughter was much younger, she wasn't feeling well and crawled up in bed with the cat and me.and promptly barfed all over the bed, the pillows, the cat, and me. It was a toss up as to which got cleaned first. Since the cat was the most likely to go streaking through the house, I grabbed him and tossed him in the tub. He protested...LOUDLY...but being the most chill cat I've ever come across, that's really all he did. He just sat there yelling while I scrubbed him do

Cat - Christina Jones Malaki, got him from a lady when he was two she bathed him to keep the dander down, I bathe him twice a year to help control shedding unless he's not feeling well then I bathe him if his hinny is messy, he's 18 pounds down from 22 so proud but the rear is still hard for him to reach. He's 17 years old. He loves bath time actually stands in the bottom of the tub better than my sister's dog! Like Reply Hide Send Message 6h Edited

Rectangle - Jenn Scuteri She was just a kitten who somehow found her way into the bathroom as my boyfriend was using it. She jumped up through his legs, through his urine stream, grabbed the toilet lid and slammed it down. I bathed the cat and he had to clean the rest of the bathroom... 13 Like Reply Hide Send Message 7h

Font - Peggy Denman Yes. He got a pop stuck in his butt and then tried to Scoot on the floor to get it off... got matted in his hair so bath it was. He wasn't happy but my husband held him by the scruff of the neck I got the lovely job of pulling out the poo and then washing his butt. He (the cat) was probably less traumatized than my husband though... 12 Like Reply Hide Send Message 7h

Font - Cheri Maxwell My girl is getting older and needs help with her grooming (a bath). The very thought gives me nightmares! She has a short front leg, to compensate her back legs are crazy strong and she has bested me more than once. Aren't there wipes on the market for this? Haaalp!!! 3 Like Reply Hide Send Message 7h

Font - Top fan Ashlee Wiltshire Usually just due to fleas, but when my youngest cat was still just a kitten of about maybe 4 months, I recall a moment when I had just come home from work, and l'd ordered a pizza. Meanwhile, decided I had to use the bathroom. While I was. still doing my business, the delivery guy knocked and freaked my cats. I hurried and finished up and just as I stood up, my then kitten, still freaking out over the knock, ran into the bathroom and launched herself into the poop

Rectangle - Alice Young My sister had to give our white cat Spooky a bath many years ago. My oldest niece has painted him with her water colors. He tolerated the bath and the blow drying. He was , however, pink for awhile. Like Reply Hide Send Message 6h

Rectangle - Jessica Wilson Mine knocked a wax warmer over on himself when he was a baby. Took 5 hours of baths and a ton of coconut oil to get him clean. We were both salty because he has always hated water and l'm on blood thinners. He threw all the paws that day. 2 Like Reply Hide Send Message 6h

Font - Top fan Kerry Ann I have a main coon kitten, as long as the water is warm she plays in it. I am getting her used to baths, she sat in her poo in the kitty litter. I have a adult Ragdoll and l'd have to sedate her if she needed a bath. Im one of the more difficult to get blood type's so this must be kept in mind when preforming death defying, semi suicidal activities. 4 Like Reply Hide Send Message 7h
