Hey y'all! We just want to make a lil statement. We love animals, almost all of them are capable of charming us for a variety of reasons…but spiders, well we've never been huge fans. And for good reason! Sure, they eat house flies. They are voracious, clever, and successful hunters, eating many of the critters you don't want buzzing around your head or crawling on your skin, including other spiders. But they are also freaking scary!
The original poster of this unfortunate Reddit thread has a huge phobia of spiders due to spider-related childhood trauma. And he entrusts his girlfriend with this information assuming that she will be respectful and considerate of it. No such luck. OP's girlfriend invites him to a party hosted by a spider enthusiast who has multiple spiders in the home! that certainly sounds like a recipe for disaster, right? Well, OP's girlfriend apparently did not think that far ahead, she didn't think of much besides herself apparently. Come on OP, time to say GN to your GF.
