If there is one thing that we love more than anything in the world, it's cats. But. More specifically, it's hooligan cats. Like, of course we love moments when cats are super affectionate and when cats are calm and when they're blinking their eyes slowly at you. Those are purrfect. But there is something special about a cat being a hooligan that we cannot help but love an extra bit. It's just that.. life would be so, so boring without it. 

We cannot even imagine living life without our cats mildly annoying us. We can't imagine life without our cats sitting in places that they shouldn't or without our cats suddenly disappearing and scaring the heck out of us only to be found twenty minutes later sleeping peacefully in a tissue box or inside the couch. All cats have moments like that… but some cats, sometimes, manage to cross a line, and humans have to warn other humans about them.

    More than anything, we think that we appreciate the way that they made sure to still defend the cat in this sign. "Max is nice" - we are sure that this is indeed the truth and that Max wasn't standing over their shoulder menacingly as they wrote this.

    Okay, fine, so we love Max and we hate every single one of the humans who tried to kick him out of the library. So what if he uses To Kill a Mockingbird as a scratcher and if he's peed on the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, he's more important than these books anyway, and he knows it.
