Can you believe it? There are still some people out there in the world who believe cats don't actually love their humans. We know, right? Ridiculous. It's as if they haven't seen our collection of heartfelt tweets of cats showing affection to their humans or our collection of stories of shy and aloof cats finally showing affection to their humans or our collection of clingy velcro cats being overly affectionate to their humans.
The stories are endless, but some people still don't believe us. Some people still think that cats only tolerate our presence for the food. That's why we put this little listicle together. No one is going to be able to tell you that cats don't actually love you once they read all these stories about cats who miss their humans meeting them at the door when they come home.
It's honestly always the most wholesome moment - coming back home and having our furry little cuties waiting for us. On particularly long work days, when we're not home for the entire day, one of our cats gets so mad at us, he purrs and bites us at the same time. It's the best thing ever lol.
It is also sooo important to know how to read your cat's body language. So many first time cat owners just don't know what a cat's love language is, so they just assume that their cats don't love them. Can't blame them though. Without prior knowledge, we wouldn't have been able to guess that cats showing us their bootieh*les is a sign of love.
