The brown tabby has a noticeable droop in his right eye. However, people shouldn't think he was mistreated in any way. Charlie has a bad case of allergies that requires medication like anyone with seasonal sniffles, which is cured by standard feline antihistamines, and he's recovering nicely.

Charlie is a mature cat, meaning that he may struggle with numerous kittens around him also seeking homes. Cat fans may believe kittens are always more energetic and playful, but Charlie makes sure he puts that rumor to rest. He greets everyone within eyesight by making a beeline toward them for a powerful, affectionate head-butt.

It doesn't take long for Charlie to make a new human friend. He may look shy, but his inner gregariousness shows through his thick brown coat, which, of course, he wants you to pet and scratch for as long as he sees fit.

04
After you pet Charlie once, there's little hope you'll have a chance to pull away. The moment you do, he'll be trying to grab your hand for more love, adding a soft yet deep meow.

The eight-year-old tabby doesn't seem to pay much attention to toys, but that could be because he was too busy rolling over on his back so others in the interaction room could scratch his belly. When Charlie met his attention needs, he retired to a quiet cat nook to relax.

06
Charlie is perfect for any cat-parent-to-be that wants a good buddy to hang around with at their house. He'll ensure that you always have someone to greet when you get home with a warm, furry embrace and will probably even sit on the couch beside you and watch an episode of Jeopardy. Regardless, Charlie is looking for someone to give him a chance for his next forever home.
