Cats enjoy being in enclosed spaces, like under furniture and in cardboard boxes, because they like to feel safe and secure. Hiding is normal behavior for a cat to have. It can be patterned, such as hiding by the water heater or clothes dryer in the colder months. The concern arises when a cat starts hiding much more frequently. A normally social cat that suddenly hides more often may be ill, stressed, afraid, or a combination of the three.
Hiding is clearly a feline instinct, but the concept becomes all the funnier when scaredy cats pick the most random hiding spots to sneakily avoid their humans. Today we've got a delightful compilation of scaredy cats hiding in all different sorts of random locations, some cats go for the sink, and some are much more creative. We guess you will have to wait and find out for yourselves. Now, get to scrolling.
