Twitter Thread: Cats Being Useful Little Helpers And Uplifting Their Humans' Moods

So many times, we hear people say that cats are total jerks, that they don't really love us - what's the point of having them in your house if they don't do anything other than eat, poop and sleep? But these people don't understand. They don't get it. The mere existence of a cat in your house is like a little miracle. Having any a cat show affection to you in any way at all is like being honored, and that makes every cat person ecstatic on whole other level, uplifting us no matter how bad our mood may be.

They manage to uplift our moods with the smallest things. Our cats can be cuddling us, and that makes us happy. Our cats can gently headbutt us, and we're immediately a puddle of joy on the floor. No matter what way our cats show us affection, our woes are immediately no more - we're healed, the sun is suddenly shining, and the whole world is better than it was before. These twitter users certainly understand the feeling that we're talking about.

Literally, that's all it takes for our cats to make us happy. There is no way to withstand the cuteness of a cat's affection. You can be in the worst mood ever, but if your cat comes up to you and does the hop-into-hand petting thing, it's impossible to not smile back at them.

They're little angels, no matter what people say. Like, how can anyone look at this wholesomeness and still think that cats are irredeemable jerks. These people have never experienced a cat's love, and you know what, we feel sorry for them for that reason. They're missing out.
