Hi, friends! We hope y'all are well and we're wishing everyone to have an amazing Tuesday. We recently stumbled upon a Twitter thread where someone said that the biggest scam of all is when cat people reply 'i know' to their cats' meowing as if they really know what they're talking about. Whether it's a cat or a real-life baby, there's nothing worse than people critiquing your parenting. Cat people were quick to clap back with not only cat photos, but also lists of all the things their cats say and/or scream at them on a daily basis.
Cats may not be able to speak our language, but they have hundreds of other ways to communicate and convey their needs to us. When dealing with cats and animals in general, it's crucial we pay attention to their body language and behavioral patterns. Are they calm? Angsty? Hurting? We invite you to take a look at the thread and leave a comment listing the things your cats say to you.
"But I *do* know! He is telling me he hates leaf blowers, wants me to leave the bathroom faucet running in perpetuity, and does not understand why I give a sh*t if he scratches up the orange chair since, after all, the world revolves around him."
That sounds just about right to us…
"I totally know though! She looks at me with her eyes wide open and full of intent like she's saying "hello mommy I'm hungry, why aren't you feeding me?!""
The eyes, Chico, they never lie
