Having cats is a whole friggin' adventure, okay? People may think that cats are easy pets - and in some ways, they are - but when cats cause trouble… they go all the way. There have been times, during our cat-owning careers, when our cats have unexpectedly cost us sooo much money. Whether it was when our cats decided to break all of our favorite things, and we had to replace them, or whether our cats got overly dramatic and freaked out by being a little constipated, and we had to pay thousands for our cats' hyper-expensive poops.
Cats are hooligans, and they know when they're doing something that they're not allowed to do. So, a lot of them make calculations and strike only when it's right. They want to cause as much chaos as possible as quickly as they can before they're caught. They've learned from their mistakes, so now, if they choose to throw something off our shelves, you can count on it being something really friggin' expensive.
"My fat cat Jackson fell through the neighbours gazebo!! We were stood talking and he jumped up there knowing he isn't allowed but wanted attention and fell straight through it we were howling laughing ....he was fine and hasn't gone near her new one thanks god. good job my neighbour is a good friend"
"Sophie destroyed my FitBit one time. I don't have much money so being able to get a FitBit was a real accomplishment for me. Sophie is a notorious thief and one day she decided she wanted my FitBit. So she crept up onto my desk where my FitBit was charging and ripped it off the charger with such force that she broke part of it off making it completely unusable. And then she had the audacity to present my broken gadget to me with a very pleased, happy expression on her face as if she was showing me her handiwork and how proud she was that she got a hold of it! I was NOT very happy with her."
"My Ethan Allen canopy bed. It was BEAUTIFUL. We bought it second hand because Ethan Allen is way out of our price range. Elphaba uses the posts as scratching posts and ladders to the top canopy part. This picture was taken last year before she completely tore the posts apart with her claws."
"His back leg….so we had to remove it (after first trying to save it) . Cost $6000 by the end as he had complications but totally worth the money! now Kirby has a heart on his belly"
