That old preschool "sharing is caring" lesson does not apply to the workplace!
This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/VioletPilot97, who shared her story about what happened after her boss bought McDonalds for the entire office and one coworker, Amy, took all the chicken nuggets (are we sure her name isn't Karen? Just checking).
The backlash was fierce and swift. A few days later, the Redditor decided to order lunch with other coworkers and deliberately left Amy out. By the time the food arrived, Amy grabbed a plate to take some and the Redditor shamed her because it wasn't her food.
People seem to be split on this issue. On the one hand, Amy took the whole "first come, first serve" thing a bit too far. On the other, she didn't know the food wasn't for everyone because she was excluded. Here at FAIL Blog, we think they're both at fault: Amy had it coming (again, are we certain her name isn't Karen?), but the Redditor didn't have to go that far.
