"The Andean mountain cat is known to live at high elevations: 1,800 m (5,900 ft) in the southern Andes to over 4,000 m (13,000 ft) in Chile, Bolivia and central Peru. It has ashy-gray fur, a grey head and somewhat rounded ears. The cat is listed as endangered; less than 1500 are thought to exist."
