Something about the allure of ~gossip~ has the public enamored and unable to unlatch from the teat of drama-fueled media. Honestly, most of us are here for the tea, so spill it!
Drama-lovers also sometimes have a hard time allowing drama into their own lives. Having seen the effects of poor choices, having an attitude, and being generally high maintenance, gossipers can sometimes remove drama from their personal lives at a surgical level. Instead, they get their fill of drama from others in their lives, like a leech to the culture. Those are the people we should really be afraid of — they have a way of weaseling into every friend group and knowing everyone's business.
