Yet another tragedy has struck before the end of 2022 and another beloved soul has been added to the roster of journeying to the beyond this year—Noodle the pug. Noodle the pug was a viral sensation. As a senior pup, he would have many days where he did not want to get up and preferred to stay curled up in his donut dog bed as if he had no bones. With this, his owner Jonathon Graz started a daily video determining if the day was going to be a "bones day" or a "no bones day." He quickly became extremely popular and everyone checked in on Noodle to see what the day was going to be. He got so popular that he ended up on multiple today shows, has tons of merch, and even collaborated to create a children's book where he is the main character.
Sadly, yesterday Graz took to TikTok to announce that sweet Noodle has crossed the rainbow bridge. "He lived 14 and a half years and he made millions of people happy," he said. "What a run!" The news has truly broken the hearts of everyone on the internet and people are posting their own memorials to the sweet pug. One radio station in Rochester, NY—WCMF—even asked their listeners to share any stories they might have had with the pug and some shared true happy stories, while many others chose to share fictional scenarios where Noodle the pug was the hero—to represent the true hero he was in real life. We already miss you, sweet Noodle and may you rest in peace and have all the cheese ball snackies you desire! It will always be a done day for us now. Thank you.
"It has been the privilege of my life to care for Noodle these past 7 years. The sweetest man there has ever been and will ever be."
