For this week's challenge, we have decided to embrace the most ridiculous side that our cats have. Clearly, it is known that cats are weird. That's just fact. All cats are unexplainably into sitting in boxes. Then, there are some cats who have a really weird addiction to human foods, and these cats will go as far as to steal our food right from our plates. And then, there are the extra weird cats who are obsessed with dishwashers for some reason - and a whole bunch of other things.
But it's not just the big stuff. We can see that cats are weird in the little things, in our day-to-day lives. Like when we randomly find our cats hiding in the shower waiting to spook us. And that's exactly what we asked you guys - where is the funniest and most ridiculous place that you have ever found your cat and how did you find it?
"Brought my Molly home for the first time. After i finished bringing other things inside from the car, I realized I hadn't seen her for awhile. I frantically looked everywhere, no Molly. I was terrified she had gotten out of the house unnoticed. The fireplace was the only place inside where I hadn't looked. Sure enough, I found that she had jumped up onto a small ledge inside the chimney flue and seemed content to stay there in a snug "safe" dark place. As soon as I enticed her out with some food, I bought a screen with a latch for that fireplace!"
"Several years ago we were in a house fire and living in the back of a church until we could find a place. My Grumpy (he has since passed) got into the main part of the church and this is where I found him. He was just sitting there like he was ready to preach a sermon. All I had was a crappy el-cheapo phone but I am grateful that crappy el-cheapo phone because it let me capture this memory of him."
"I think I have everyone beat… That's the hamsters cage (before people comment freaking out the hamster was not in the cage - she would always watch him and obviously wanted to try it too lol)"
"My couch has a chaise with storage. The back has an opening just big enough for a cat to get inside. One of my cats uses the storage part as her personal hideout. Found this out bc one day I heard snoring coming from inside the couch."
