Special needs animals are always the cutest. They require extra care and are generally just the most lovable little beans in the house. But would you consider a hairless cat a special needs pet? Well if you live in one of the coldest cities in America, they quickly require some very special attention for their hairlessness. Bayly Shelly, a cat dad and social content creator, has a pair of hairless cats in his Chicago home that certainly could be considered special needs pets. His two spynx cats, one is white-ish pink and the other has grey smoothed skin, and they both require special care in the form of kitty sweaters.

Despite their baldness, these cats are otherwise just as mischievous and diabolical as other kitties, so their special needs pretty much stop at “being cold on a seasonal basis”. They cause mayhem wherever they go, encouraging each other's bad behavior and being general menaces around the house. Even in the frigid winters of Chicaco, these two give Bayly a run for his money. They chase window birbs, skitter around the house, lurk from high places, and always always always, find the warmest perch in the house— even if that's a running computer.

Bayly has a closet full of clothes for his two cats that puts most millennial wardrobes to shame. As a full time father, working from home can be a challenge with two mischievous, bald children. However, their special needs have made them even more cuddley and needy than most other cats, which is an adorable relief. When a chilly hairless cat needs to get warm, who do they look to? They find teh largest living thing in the house and curl up on their lap. Fortunately for Bayly, he is the lucky candidate

With a house full of tiny skin sacks, it would be tough not to run the central heating all of the time, but a sweater must do. The cats might pretend that they hate it but we all know that they love the softness on their bald bits and can't resist the allure of being warmed. So even though hairless cats act like they have it all together, they need you more than they care to lead on, making them the most fashionable of all special needs pets.

Pretending not to like it but secretly loves it
