Fresh Tweets From the Funny Brains of Twitter (December 9, 2022)

Hello, internet explorers. Is it just me, or is anyone else having a harder time than usual grappling with their internet addiction? I kind of have some theories as to why. You see, at least here in the Northeast, things are getting a wee bit cold. They are also (sadly) getting a whole lot darker. Just a few days ago I was walking home at just past five, and it was basically dark as night. It was more than a bit alarming, especially as someone who has to work in an office all throughout the dreary days of winter. Gone are the bright, sunshiney days of summer. Now we simply have to accept that the most sunlight we'll get is during our morning coffee and lunch breaks. This usually leads to spending most of my time curled up on the sofa and scrolling aimlessly through Twitter and TikTok. Before I know it, bedtime has long passed and I'm left wondering where the time has gone. Spoiler alert: nowhere good. One way of minimizing time scrolling is by consuming content with intention.
