Just because you hold a higher job title, does not mean you know more about the job. Sure, you might be more qualified for different aspects of the job, but don't come in and start telling your employees how to do their job when you literally have no idea. That is what happened to hostess Hannah Brown. She had been working at restaurant as a hostess for almost a year already when they got a new assistant manager. She introduced herself to the new manager and was very polite. She then proceeded to the host stand to do her job

If you've ever worked in a restaurant you know that all parties will complain, even though they were told from the very start just how long they were going to have to wait. The party in question was quoted an hour and a half wait and it hadn't even been 50 minutes yet. The chaos ensued and the manager kept getting more and more upset because the hostess wasn't doing what she wanted her to do. So the host explained to her how that would f**k up every other table, reserved and on the wait list, and that with all due respect, she has no idea how to host.
