'He's worked so hard on it': Daughter helps blow up her father's new business by posting a TikTok asking viewers to give her hardworking dad a chance

Argo Navigation is a free app for boaters for them to connect, share local boating knowledge, and discover/ get directions to new destinations. It was created by a lifelong boater, but you probably wouldn't have heard about any of this if you weren't already a very intense boater. You would have to be searching for this specific app to find it. Marketing is hard, however, this app creator had a secret marketing weapon he didn't even know he had. He had his Gen Z daughter.

While at a boating convention, he and his daughter were working the both to get the word of this new app he created out there to boaters. It seemed like they were not having much luck and it was breaking his daughter's heart to see this happening. She knew how hard he worked on this app and to see people not even look at him and walk on by completely ignoring the flyer he's trying to hand out just k!lled her. So she posted to her personal TikTok a video showing her dad attempting to pass flyers, but being ignored and asking people to just give the app a try because she loves her dad and he worked very hard on it.

That 12 second video turned out to be the key for this business to absolutely blow up.

Millions of TikTokers have watched the video and also could not stand to see a hardworking and loved father go through that kind of disappointment. So people who have never even been on a boat or live near any bodies of water downloaded the app. For dads everywhere!

The video went so viral that even people the following day at the boating convention they were at were going to their table saying they saw them on TikTok. The creator of Argo, the dad, could not believe what was happening. He was so happy he was almost brought to tears. The Gen Z daughter decided to change her personal TikTok account to be the official Argo account so her dad's business could keep all the attention it has been getting because of that one silly little video she posted. Now, she says her dad has been getting non-stop emails about his app and it still is getting tons and tons of new people downloading it. They even thank people who learned about them through the TikTok video on their official website now.
