Font - Ghost Malone @GhostTownGrow Me: "Listen I like this job but I'm not willing to compromise my health and the health of my coworkers over it. If you disagree then it's probably time to start looking for somewhere that cares about me being a healthy human as much as they care about my performance"

Font - Cody, Brawl Apologist @mtgzoomer Our management decided to try the "let's pay them more and treat them better" approach, and ended up with much higher employee retention and actually sniping workers from our competitors who weren't doing the same. Workplace morale is at its highest since pre- COVID. Go figure.

She'll just tell you that it will be all sorted now get out please. Font - POLICE BOX Shannon Nutt @Shannon Nutt The correct answer is "How much coverage will you have if I quit?" I would not work for a person like this.

Font - US Veteran @restore_GI_Bill The entire workforce is burning out, when you have nothing to show or take pride in after 40 plus hours a week then you lost pride and resilience. Your entire income is less effective against high prices and increasing cost to just live. People are seeing it's not worth it.

Font - I @jcsbts Once, when I was a shift manager, someone called in saying they were stuck in the snow. The GM was appalled I had excused the employee. They wanted me to go see for myself if the employee was indeed stuck.

Font - Mac Tonight @ActAppalledxx Depending on the job and the illness, you're literally not supposed to go to work sick. These managers are so annoying.

Font - LA is Buffering.. (they/them) Barbie @lahthers Reminds me of my old job in a grocery store bakery. I'd developed an illness that had made me INCREDIBLY sick for a while, I'd have to excuse myself to throw up often. They STILL wanted me to handle food.

Font - MARIANN Jason Call - Volunteer Coordinator M... @CallForCongress Jason Call for Congress WA-... 5d ✓ If you call off sick you are not leaving your co-workers short-handed. Your boss did that. . They refused to hire enough employees. Didn't make plans to cover sick workers' shifts. Didn't include your human needs in their calculations. It's not your fault. You deserve sick days. 426K ↑ 1,514 113K ılı Show this thread
