There's something about entrepreneurs that makes them want to post cringe at any chance they get. They love to advise struggling workers when they themselves haven't achieved any semblance of success. They love to humble brag about how hard they work and how having your own business is superior to working for a company in every possible way. If someone with no knowledge of our economy went on LinkedIn for a day, they would come to the conclusion that entrepreneurship is the only feasible avenue to success and that anyone who doesn't choose that route is totally screwed for their future.
Luckily, LinkedIn is not the real world. Owning your own business is not guaranteed to make you a millionaire with a little elbow grease. Nobody talks like LinkedIn influencers in real life. If you're on this page, you probably find the LinkedIn "inspirational" posts equally annoying and funny, and we couldn't agree more.
