When it comes to money, there is one thing that most of us can agree on: we feel like we need more of it. From those who are barely scraping by to the billionaires keen to make their next profit, we all have our eyes on the dollar-shaped prize. It goes without saying that this is a product of the society we live in, and this can produce some pretty funny ideas about what constitutes having enough money.
Case in point is one individual on Twitter, who has some opinions about being poor that could be considered unusual. Suggesting that those who earn $250,000 a year could be considered in danger of poverty, other people were quick to disagree with the bold statement. It may be true that many of us are only a few missed paychecks away from financial ruin, but this does seem like an overly dramatic way of putting it.
