‘You Need To Leave Now’: Retail Employee Demands Customer Leave Store After Crying For 45 Minutes In A Dressing Room Because Clothes Won't Fit

Working in the customer service industry is exhausting; Karen customers are a dime a dozen, and they can barely wait to pounce upon their prey, retail workers, upon entering the store. This customer in question may not entirely be a Karen, but she's pretty close. OP was working her shift at the clothing store she worked at when she noticed a woman entering a dressing room with about 6 dresses. The issue was, the woman just didn't come out. Not after 10 minutes, and not after 20. She could be heard sobbing loudly to herself, and although OP sympathized, she didn't know what to do… the queue was getting longer, and other customers were becoming impatient.

At first, OP tried to reason with the customer, but she was met with either silence or more sobs. After 45 minutes passed and things weren't looking up, OP had no choice but to tell the customer that she needed to leave, or OP would have to call security. That's when the show really began, as the customer finally emerged from the dressing room stall, livid. She began berating OP and the beauty industry, creating a scene and completely ruining OP's day. Scroll down to read what happened next.
