Update: 'You're being a Bridezilla': Man refuses to cut groomsman from wedding for cheating on his wife, despite fiancée's request
Choosing guests for your wedding is no small feat, despite it sounding simple enough. You have two sides to consider… it's called being in a 'couple', after all. In this case, one of OP's fiance's groomsmen admitted to cheating on his wife, which made OP very uncomfortable. This groomsman said he was getting divorced as a result of said cheating, and OP asked her own fiance to disinvite him from the wedding, as she felt heartbroken for the groomsman's wife and kids. She didn't want to invite that toxic energy during her own special day.
In her opinion, the groomsman chose to break his vows; so why should he stand at the altar and watch them make their own? Call it bad karma, or don't… OP just wasn't having it. Since she posted her question, she received a lot of different kinds of replies, which prompted her to post an update, informing everyone that the groomsman's wife had forgiven him and they were going to work on their marriage. OP was upset at hearing this and still didn't want the groomsman at her wedding.
