After the distractions of cage fights and other frivolities, did you think we were safe from Elon Musk's mission to single-handedly run Twitter into the ground? Well, think again. In a move that promises to be one of the most upsetting shakeups yet, the world's most annoying billionaire announced temporary restrictions on how many tweets users could view per day.
After a weekend of widespread Twitter outages, it was decided that verified accounts would be allowed to look at a mere 6000 posts per day, and the great unwashed/unverified would get 600. The rates have since changed to 10000 and 1000. Nonetheless, most people on Twitter saw the original figure and decided to freak out.
This would hardly be the first thing that Elon has done to inspire a mass exodus, and many users seem to be sticking around long enough to at least complain about it first. So, without further ado, here are a few tweets that jest about this drastic change. Maybe Bluesky will get off the ground after all.
