We take our reading very seriously over here at the ICanHasCheezburger editorial office, and so do our cats! On a rainy day, you can catch us cozying up in our little reading nook with a classic piece of literature in our hands and our cats by our side. Heck, even on warm sunny days you can catch us in our reading nook with a mug of tea and a page-turner.
Our cats clearly take after us reading folk, as based on the following series it is abundantly evident that feline bookkeepers take their jobs very seriously. They do so by being fluffy, adorable, and cozying up with classic literature, and who can blame them? We even encourage re-reading old classics that have not gotten much love in recent years. Books are being banned left and right, but our cats will have nothing to do with that nonsense! Because reading is, what? FUNdamental!
