Font - My mother has to do 2 weeks of radiation for breast cancer that has spread to her bones. I had to explain to her that she cannot come to my daughters birthday party while she's in the middle of treatment (which went over like a fart in church) and that she shouldn't be around my baby nephew either. She says her doctor never said anything about staying away from people. Does anyone have an idea how long we should wait until it's safe to see her again? I feel bad making her stay away, but t

Font - Y AT HOME MO UNE Anonymous member · in · S Any southern mamas? Raising their kids the way they where raised? I feel like we get judged more often then not for having a paddle. I survived the paddle growing up and so did my boyfriend. Our 7yr old had told us one day that the belt (which both my boyfriend and I survived getting growing up) doesn't phase her. She loves to talk back and have a smart mouth. (I've washed her mouth out before) she told me she doesn't care. The only way we can ge

I really don't want her to have to go through all of middle school and high school obese. I had the surgery when I was 20 and it completely changed my life!! I want that for her too! I don't think we would do it now, but wondered how young we could do it. 1d Like Reply 4 89

Rectangle - Anonymous participant 15h ✪ . . ... Comment Share X Hi. We are moving to mid-March and want to know what resources are available for young kids who are gifted. My 4 year old will be starting Kindergarten next year. We will be zoned for Elementary. He already knows how to read fluently (at least at a 2nd grade level), is advanced in math, geography, chemistry, astronomy, etc. all self taught. I am worried about putting him in a K classroom due to boredom. What to do?? 1 answer Like

Font - Has anyone gone to Disney only a week or 2 after having a baby. I'm due at the end of August, but my sons 5th bday is September 5th and we wanted to bring him September 8th to the MNSSH event, he's been asking to go because we did it for him last year for his 4th bday. It will be me, my husband, my mom, 5 years old, 2 year old and the new baby. Should we not go? Should I bring him and take it easy? What rides should I avoid if we do go? Thanks in advance. 18 77 answers

Font - Anonymous member 10h. Hi mamas. My boyfriend of 17 days has a terrible habit of pooping in a plastic bag and then hiding it in the refrigerator. I think he thinks I don't know because he usually disposes of it within 24 hours (not sure where it goes after that) but I see it there behind the yogurt. I had too much fear of doctors, hospitals, and the medical community to get help when my numbers started going up around week 22... I had a midwife and made it seem like everything was ok so she didn't sent me to the doctor. I read articles and studies about ways to keep your blood sugar down while pregnant, but it wasn't enough.
