One of the scariest things about Mommy Facebook Groups is how much personal information people are willing to share on them. I'm convinced that so many of these moms never learned that creepy people can use what you post online stalkingly. Either that, or they don't think it will happen to them. It's one thing to share something vaguely identifying anonymously, but it's a whole different story when you're sharing details about your life and your child's life with a group of functional strangers with your full name and hometown attached. We need to get these women into a 2005 computer class about online stranger danger pronto!
I understand the appeal of sharing your life in a private Facebook group filled with other moms who get your situation. However, I draw the line at taking it way too far, and the moms that posted these Facebook posts did exactly that.
