Font - My boss is a Kevin XL My boss is a huge Kevin. Its pretty spectacular how he has an MBA, is the vice president of a company and set to inherit that company from his parents when they die. (I guess Kevin is the prime example of why nepotism doesn't work.) Not only does he lack common sense, he also lacks critic thinking and has no ability to follow simple instructions or understand simple explanations for things he doesn't know. Kevin has done the following things:

Font - He was being interviewed by the local newspaper about his company. In preparation for the interview, he asked me to think of some stories from his childhood and write them down so he could have something to talk about in the interview. I've known him for 2 years.

Font - Once walked into my office and handed me a post it with w phone number on it and said "call this guy" then left the building. Did not tell me the person's name, what I was supposed to call him about, or the area code for the phone number

Font - Once asked me to send him info I had already sent him 27 times in 2 weeks. It ended up being an email with 26 other forwards to him because he didn't know how to search his inbox.

Font - Insisted we switch the company wide email server to gmail so we would have access to google docs, sheets, etc. He then asked me what a google doc was.

Font - Tried to tell me guerrilla marketing was when you go out in a field with your product and do demonstrations. He asked me to help him find a large enough field to hold all our products so we could do a demonstration.

Font - We had placed some animated digital ads online. He tried to print them out and asked me why they "weren't moving anymore." Says there is "no magic number" for the amount of money you should spend on marketing. There is. Its pretty well known and usually taught in college courses that it is 10% of annual revenue.

Font - Routinely attempts to fax me when I have no fax machine Tried to fit something that was 3ft in diameter through an 18 in. hole Asked me why he keeps getting emails from Facebook about potential leads. When I told him they get sent to him when someone clicks on our ad and requests more info about the company, a copy of it gets sent to him. He said he deleted the leads because he thought they were "people trolling him."

Font - Amazon business contacted me to sell our products on their site. When I asked him if he was interested, he said he had the idea to do something like that before but never got around to it. I asked him what he meant and he said he's always wants to have a website where a whole bunch of companies can sell products on one website. He said he had the idea for Amazon but never got around to it. He was 6 years old when Amazon started.

Font - Emptied the shared company dropbox because he thought he was the only one who had access to it. Queue pics from 2007 - 2017 are now permanently deleted. I guess I should stop but I could go on forever. Ill add more as they happen.

Font - russsl8 Insisted we switch the company wide email server to gmail so we would have access to google docs, sheets, etc. He then asked me what a google doc was. OK, this one is very forgiveable. Not everyone is familiar with all the services that Google offers. 1 Reply Share [deleted] I mean, my thing that he wanted to do it specifically for google docs without actually knowing what one was.
