Mudslinging isn't very neighborly, but neighborhood feuds are more common than affordable housing. In buildings with close quarters, paper-thin walls, and rickety floorboards, it's easy to get swept up in the downright fury of a noisy, irritating neighbor– especially when you have opposite sleep rhythms. For this tenant, it was more than just the tight living conditions that sent her over the edge, it was the false complaints that her new neighbor was filing with the HOA. Now now, settle down everyone… surely there's a way to solve this like adults?

When u/Nervous-Translator76 moved in with her boyfriend, everything seemed peachy until a new tenant moved in downstairs. For no apparent reason, this new neighbor thought they could establish dominance over the loyal 4-year tenants above and (perhaps to score the nicer unit above him) he proceeded to do his best to drive them out. Fortunately for us readers, she wasn't about to be driven out so easily and put on her petty-revenge pants for a little payback.
