'Communication saves the day': Patient boyfriend confronts his girlfriend when she continually wears her ex's clothes; honesty saves their relationship

Anyone who's ever had a long-term relationship knows that the hoodie exchange is a critical milestone. Once a girlfriend has assumed ownership of a guy's hoodie, not only is that outerwear long gone, but it also becomes a symbol of comfort, romance, and yummy pheromones. When you wear a romantic partner's clothes, you're basically declaring to the world that you're theirs and they're yours… Which is why when you break up, you're supposed to get rid of all that meaningful cotton-blend and move on!

In our next story, a man is confronted with a weirdly clingy woman in his life. However, it's not him that she's clinging to– it's the pit-stained t-shirts of her ex boyfriend. Yikes.

After dating officially for months, the boyfriend noticed that she still wore all the old clothes of her ex-boyfriend and that she refused to ever wear his hoodies. So who's side was she on? Fortunately for their relationship, OP was patient and communicative, a move that would ultimately save their relationship.
