Being a feline pawrent is much like anything in life, there are positives and negatives to the decision. And yes, in part the responsibility falls on the feline pawrent to educate and raise their feline fur baby to be a well-mannered, fine little gentleman. However, there is always going to be an element that we cannot influence in their pawsonalities and that is something we simply have to live with. For some cats it is clawminal behaviour, for others it is an aloofness akin to a supermodel, and for others it is a dislike of being touched. No matter what the undesirable trait, it is likely to be there.
