Purrsuasive Dumpster Kitten Melts the Heart of His Foster Pawrent, Meowing His Way into a Furrever Home With His Rescuer

At what point does a person become a ‘crazy cat lady’? Is this title earned by the number of cats you facilitate in your home? Or is it determined by your fierce love of felines? I'd argue that it's a combination of both. Having met cat owners with only one beloved kitten in the house versus cat lovers with a whole hoard of felines and multiple litter boxes in the house, I'd say that every cat person has a touch of crazy in their hearts. 

However, sometimes it's the cats who pluck the cuckoo behavior out of us hoomans. In this next kitten rescue story, a feline foster is faced with a difficult decision after a dumpster kitten sweeps her off of her feet.

After discovering this purrfectly pudgy kitten in the dumpster behind her work, Cindy attempted to wrangle the kitten for days to take him in to see the vet. Knowing that his distended tummy was a bad sign, she had to act fast to save the kitten's life. When she finally caught him, she realized she was buckling up for an emotional rollercoaster of epic paw-portions. 

After his first bath, this stinky little nugget got to work on melting his foster mom's heart. (At the time, Cindy believed that the foster kitten was a female, but later proved that he was a little boy kitten)

Eventually, Cindy could feel her heart swell with love when she looked at her new foster. The kitten grew attached to her quickly, cuddled trustingly in her arms, and purred at the sight of her. How could she not consider keeping such a sweet lil guy?

The new kitten stayed with them for almost a week before Cindy got the courage to ask her husband if they could keep the dumpster kitty. Like a timid child at the pet store, Cindy sheepishly approached her man to see if they could keep the kitten– but to her surprise, he was immediately swayed. 

Not only did the kitten find his furrever home, but he quickly became a beloved member of the family to all of the cats, the husband, and even the dog. This charming little fur ball will never go hungry again, living a plush life with his new family and melting the hearts of all he encounters.
