Neil the Seal vs the Internet: Australia's Most Beloved Infamous Tasmanian Townie Gets Hilariously Meme-ified
Neil the Seal is the celebrity we need in 2024. He's big, strong, yet gentle and silly. He lives his best life and isn't afraid to tell authority to heck off. He has a hilarious love-hate relationship with traffic cones and the people of Tasmania. If you are unfamiliar with Neil the Seal, let us open the door to this dopamine-boosting being. He is a young elephant seal who travels to Tasmania, Australia once a year to do "extreme molting." This is something elephant seals have to do once a year for about a month in order to shed all of their fur and first layer of skin. During this time, they mostly stay out of the water. Usually, you'll find these giant guys just lounging on the beach during this time, but not Neil.
Neil loves to go on adventures around the town. You can find him in people's backyards, on their porches, in the middle of the road, or even on their front doorstep. He even decided to take a nap in some woman's driveway, preventing her from getting to work on time. Imagine having to tell that excuse to your boss… Anyways, the people love him, even when he's being a pest, and the internet loves him even more. So of course he is turning into a beloved meme!
