How far is too far when it comes to keeping secrets from your best friend? Can you 'out' someone in order to save someone else getting hurt? These were all the questions this Reddit user had when he took to Reddit this week to find out what users thought of his actions.
The story is about three friends. Two of which started dating. One is straight, the other is gay and the third friend in the story knew this and kept it to themselves until the straight friend found out. Then they came clean, telling them they had known all along and the friendship was ruined.
Reddit users for the most part said the friend who kept the secret did the right thing as it's not their place to out anyone. On the other hand some users felt that it was wrong to admit they'd known all along once everything came out.
