Spice-phobic husband complains family doesn't accommodate his palate: 'He's a big boy and shouldn't be acting like that'
As a spice enthusiast, I have little patience for those who can't take the heat. Sure, I have my limits, but it's no fun to go out to eat with people with limited palates. Some folks can't help it, sure, but I feel like some of them are just being wimps. But in any case, I certainly don't respect people who use their dietary restrictions to make other people's lives worse. Keep your bland food to yourself and leave me out of it. I'll be over here with my Thai, Indian, and Mexican food the way that it comes. Don't rain on my parade, man.
But that's exactly what went down in the family in a recent Reddit post where the father complained that his family is leaving him in the spice dust, so to speak. Listen, we all get hangry sometimes, but you have to manage your own hunger. Contrary to popular opinion, that's not what wives are for!
