This person was in a frustrating work environment, and they decided to take the internet's advice on how to handle it.
Working at a small business has its perks and drawbacks. When you're working for a company with only 15 people, you'll get to know your coworkers and bosses much better than you would at a company with 300 employees. That doesn't necessarily mean you'll enjoy working with them, though, as this person, u/AssignmentFit461, found out first-hand.
Since starting their new remote work job, this employee has found themself constantly training a new hire. The new employee was supposed to be trained for two weeks, which is typical. Instead, she seems like she's not absorbing anything she was taught. Now, the original poster is stuck working extra hours to try and keep up. As if that wasn't bad enough, they also just found out that they and the coworker who can't figure it out have both gotten bonus checks for the same exact amount. No wonder they took to Reddit to ask for help about their work situation!
The original poster did reply with an update, so check out both posts below, as well as replies from commenters who were tracking the story. Then, read about these job candidates who flunked their interviews, like one person who accidentally admitted, "I work better in a slow-paced environment."
