Divorced dad of 2 ridicules younger girlfriend for farting in her sleep: 'What do you want me to do?'

Ah, men: you can't fart with them, and you can't fart without them. It has been my understanding for the longest time that men think farts are funny. They love to let one rip and then hold their beloved's head under the covers as a fun little prank moment. It has recently come to my attention that some men only think farts are funny when they do it, and when women do so, it's disgusting. This concept is brilliantly explored in the South Park episode 'Eat, Pray, Queef,' where a comedy duo called "The Queef Sisters" start to rival the fame of flatulent Canadian male comedy duo Terrance and Phillip. The men of South Park are insistent that farts are inherently funny, but queefs are unspeakably disgusting. Wonder why. 

A couple recently got into a parallel dilemma where the boyfriend criticized his younger girlfriend for farting in her sleep, something she had no control over.
