The story below is an account of a frustrated son-in-law. The original poster (OP) and his spouse recently announced the arrival of their twin sons. Not long after the couple's twins were born, OP's sister-in-law unexpectedly gave birth to twin daughters. At first, everything was going quite nicely, or as smoothly as can be with two newborns to look after. However, when OP's mother-in-law started advocating for the notion of switching children so that each sibling could have a boy and a girl, things took an unexpected turn.
