Entitled passenger complains about missing flight after being late, gets dragged: 'Is this your first time on vacation?'
Did the airport dad phenomenon teach us nothing? If there is one golden rule of being in the airport, it's to leave as much time for everything as possible. Arriving two to three hours before you are meant to board the plane is generally the standard advice, but it doesn't stop some people from thinking they're the exception—and then getting a rude awakening.
This is exactly what happened to one TikToker, who faced some disastrous setbacks in trying to go on vacation which she shared on the platform. First, she and her boyfriend turned up at the gate for their flight only fifteen minutes before it was due to take off. Then, they failed to produce a credit card for the car that they had rented.
Instead of sympathy, this thwarted traveler faced no end of criticism from viewers. These certainly do seem to be rookie errors that could have easily been avoided.
