Getting unjustly fired has never felt so good. Here, we have a fast food employee who saw a half-finished soda can and asked everyone working, including his manager, if it belonged to anyone before he tossed it in the trash before the end of his shift. Apparently, his direct manager was not paying attention because he was too busy talking on the phone with his girlfriend while on the clock. So, when he was done with his personal call, he went looking for his soda only to learn that it had been thrown away.
Instead of letting it go like a normal person, this manager decided to throw a temper tantrum directed at the employee, accusing him of insubordination. He ended up giving the employee an ultimatum: go get the manager a new soda or go home entirely and never return. Well, it turns out that this dude was not in a position to fire anyone; that would be the job of the general manager, his supervisor. When he found out what went wrong here, he immediately reinstated the employee. One can imagine what a glorious moment that was for the employee to return to work and inform his manager that he couldn't be dismissed like that.
