Social media doesn't come easily to every person. Some people take forever to learn how to upload Instagram pictures or navigate X (formerly known as Twitter). And some people haven't even left Facebook! Even in current year, when many of us have moved on from Facebook to more current social media sites, there's still a big population who are enjoying the site.
Whenever I scroll through good ole Facebook, I see more and more people using avatars in their statuses (see #1 for an example). They're often jarring to see, though. People will write statuses about their poor health or how their grandkids are acting out, yet the post will be accompanied by a goofy-looking cartoon avatar of that person. It ends up producing a lot of unintentionally funny moments, as you'll see below! Avatars aside, some people will overshare, as if they don't know that their public comments can be seen by anyone online. In fact, as you'll see in the pictures below, there are many ways people can produce unintentionally hilarious stuff on social media!

"Getting messages from family asking why my aunt can't be my fb friend. Another aunt messaged me saying I'm being disrespectful, even though this is the third fb account I've accepted from aunt Jodie. Fun," writes u/Itsasmomthing1617.
