Robert Downey Jr. recently dropped a hot take that's leaving his fans both confused and bemused.

Nobody who has seen this quote out of context seems to be able to tell if it's a compliment or not, but it's pretty obvious from their history working together that he meant it as a compliment. Favreau might have some misses (Am I the only person alive who's seen Cowboys & Aliens?) but his successes clearly outweigh his failures. He can be singlehandedly credited for creating the MCU, and RDJ literally owes the entire second half of his career to that man. For the average person, Elon's technological wins outweigh his losses (his acquisition of Twitter is equivalent to Cowboys & Aliens in terms of quality). If you are grateful to Favreau for bringing superheroes back to the movies, these Marvel memes are for you.
