Neighborhood feuds are never fun to be a part of but they are endlessly entertaining when you yourself are an objective third party. Here, it's obvious who was in the wrong, but at least the resident didn't allow his neighbor to walk all over him.
For context, the resident in question hired construction workers to help with his roof project for his elderly father, who lived on his property. He had notified his neighbor well in advance about the construction work, and his neighbor agreed to allow the workers to have access to the road. All that changed when the work actually started, and the neighbor wound up trying to sabotage the construction workers by repeatedly blocking the road.
This led to the resident's desire to enact some petty revenge and to build the ugliest fence possible to delineate the property line.
