Man Holds Onto Grudge 15-years After Wife’s Infidelity, He Considers Divorce After His Kids Are Grown Up

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. Infidelity is a tale as old as time. It's heartbreaking, betraying, and can strip someone of all their self-worth and confidence. It definitely isn't an easy thing to move past, but there are couples who do. 

In this Reddit thread, the original poster (OP) is a man who's been with his wife for decades. His children are grown, over 18-years old and in college now. He's been harping back to his 15-year old memory of his wife's few weeks affair. It was when the kids were young, and he only wanted to keep the peace for his children. Now that they're independent, he considers divorcing her 15 years later. He claims he loves her, but that it's always in the back of his mind. Now, in my opinion if you've already gone this far with a loving relationship after the fact, why divorce now? He's old and probably won't find someone else.
