Woman Contemplates Booting Friend Out of Her Bridal Party After She's Made To Feel Like a ‘Second Tier’ Friend at Her Wedding: ‘I didn’t even get to talk to her’

Some ladies have been dreaming about their future weddings since they were children. Of course, these dreams always took the shape of something out of a Disney movie. Your best friend by your side, Prince Charming waiting patiently at the altar, and an evening full of picture-perfect festivities that others will envy for the rest of time.

Being the best friend of the bride is no easy task. Especially when they decide that you won't be one of their bridesmaids, but tell you lies to soften the blow. The woman in this story did not take part in her friend's bridal party for this exact reason. Her friend told her the bridal party would be small, about five people, and though the woman was hurt, she didn't want to be unsupportive. The original poster (OP) comes to find out that he friend had 10 bridesmaids, all of whom were very mean and possessive of the bride. This didn't stop at the wedding, and the OP said she didn't even get to speak to her friend on her special day. As a result, the OP is on the fence about keeping this friend as one of her bridesmaids. She doesn't want to ruin their friendship, but there might not be a friendship to mend given these events.
