When your best gal pal sends a save-the-date for her wedding, it's only right to, well, save the date. If you have existing plans for the date of their wedding, it's not really your fault. Planning a wedding takes times, so you'd hope that your gal pal would give you a good amount of time before the date to plan accordingly. The woman in this story dealt with a similar story 15 years ago. She expressed that she and her boyfriend were into the music festival scene and had one scheduled for early July. Her friends told her the news of their marriage, and that she should save the date for July 7th—the same day as a music festival outing the woman had planned with her boyfriend. The woman originally stated that she couldn't make it, but was convinced to cancel her vacation plans so she could attend. Closer to the wedding date, her friends informed her the wedding was now close family only and wouldn't even be on the same day. Now, the woman was without her vacation and uninvited from the wedding. Scroll to read the entire story.
