This dude really thought he had a golden ticket to getting a brand new fence. Some people are just opportunistic like that. Instead of being a kind neighbor, this guy could only think about himself and what he stood to gain from a collapsed fence. 

Owning your own home is a luxury, but it does come with a few drawbacks. One of these is that if something on your property breaks, you're the one who has to solve that problem. If your roof leaks, you've got to get up on the roof and patch it. Or maybe that leaky faucet is driving you crazy, so you've got to break out your tool belt and get to work. Same thing applies if you have a fence that suddenly collapses, which is exactly what happened to u/Transcendentalcat's uncle. 

If your neighbor's fence collapsed, you'd probably approach them with concern and ask if anyone was injured or if they need help clearing the wreckage. That's just the nice, neighborly thing to do. But some people aren't interested in forming lasting relationships… some folks are just straight-up mean! But at least this guy's uncle got back at his uncaring neighbor in the best way possible, as you can read all about below. 

After that, this cosmetics store employee did hosted a really ridiculous interview with a woman who really wanted to work there… and requested $55 per hour.
